 Profile

Siyuan (Seth) Li is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management at Clemson University. He got his PhD degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Georgia in 2013 and his Bachelor degree in Finance and Information Systems Management from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2006. Seth’s research interests lie in the area of recommendation systems and social network analysis in an online e-commerce context. He also conducts research in other areas like sustainability and energy informatics. His work has appeared in or is forthcoming in journals including the Journal of Association for Information Systems, MIS Quarterly Executives, and International Journal of Social Ecology and Sustainable Development. Seth’s teaching experience covers a variety of topics and platforms. The courses he taught, at both undergraduate and graduate levels, include business intelligence, system analysis and design, Java programming, introduction to MIS, and database management.
