Welcome to the Calhoun Honors College.

We challenge our students to excel by offering specialized courses with Clemson's best professors; by encouraging participation in a wide range of innovative learning experiences on campus, across America, and around the world; and by promoting intellectual engagement through formal and informal interactions with other Clemson students, staff and faculty. We encourage our students to create their own ideal education, by sponsoring programs such as study abroad and undergraduate research, and by providing individualized funding for internships, educational travel and professional development. Whether you're a prospective student or already enrolled, the Calhoun Honors College is here for you.

Executive Director LasserIt’s a marriage of home and work for this longtime Tiger. He heads the Calhoun Honors College, housed in the beautiful new Core Campus. He and his wife, Sue, also live there as part of the Faculty-In-Residence program, which places faculty and students in the same residential space.  Read more here.
 

Two Honors College Students Receive Prestigious Scholarships

Congratulations to Killian McDonald!Killian McDonald of Columbia, SC, an Honors College student and a junior political science and women’s leadership double major, was named a 2017 Truman Scholar. She is Clemson’s first Truman Scholar since 1979 and the second Clemson student ever to receive the award.  Read more here.

Joey Wilson, from Duncan, SCJoey Wilson, from Duncan, SC, is a member of the Honors College who is majoring in bioengineering and global studies, and is president of Clemson’s Undergraduate Student Government.  He has been name a Schwarzman Scholar.  This prestigious scholarship sends 129 men and women from 30 countries to study for one year at Tsinghua University in Beijing.
