Our goal is for the 2018 Clemson University Men of Color National Summit to be a success for all attendees, and we need your help! We are recruiting up to 150 volunteers to assist with a variety of duties during both set-up and the two-day conference. Schedules, descriptions and training will be provided. All positions require a friendly, outgoing personality since each position will include interaction with summit guests. Please consider volunteering for a minimum four-hour shift by clicking the button below and completing the brief volunteer application.

In an effort to show our appreciation, each summit volunteer will receive the following:

  • Complimentary two-day summit registration, including lunch both days (a minimum of four hours of volunteer time is required)
  • Events and sessions that allow you to interact and network with national and local speakers, business professionals and other community members
  • Opportunities to gain valuable leadership, team-building and organizational skills
  • A chance to serve as an ambassador to high school and college students from across the country
  • A Men of Color National Summit volunteer shirt
  • Tiger Transit transportation to and from campus during the two-day summit (morning, lunch and evening only)
  • A letter of appreciation upon successful completion of your assignment

Volunteer Application

NOTE: Confirmed volunteers should not register online for the summit. You will be registered once you receive an email of acknowledgement with your assignment by February 28, 2018. Training will be provided on campus on April 3 at 5:00 pm, along with pizza and a beverage.

Questions should be directed to Courtney Porrello, 2018 Men of Color National Summit volunteer chair, at cporrel@clemson.edu.
