CI + UR
Creative Inquiry (CI) is Clemson University’s unique combination of undergraduate research, experiential learning and cross-disciplinary interactions. Each year, approximately 4,500 undergraduate students in all disciplines engage in approximately 400 team-based multi-semester research projects mentored by faculty, post-doctoral researchers and graduate students. Since 2005, CI more than 65,000 students have engaged in more than 2,000 projects.
In alignment with Clemson Elevate pillars we:
- Provide experiential learning opportunities to all undergraduates to support the #1 student experience
- Support research ascension by facilitating undergraduate opportunities to advance research
- Enable projects to serve the state through community-based research and outreach activities
