The Division of Marketing and Communications is comprised of team members across the university working collaboratively to improve the visibility and protect the reputation of the Clemson brand. Our centralized team offers core marketing and communications products and services across brand experiences, strategic communications, presidential communications, marketing operations, social media, marketing strategy and analytics, and advancement marketing.
We help tell the Clemson story through strategic planning and creative thinking by providing innovative and well-researched approaches to marketing and communications across the print, digital and social platforms our audiences use.

President James P. Clemson unveiled our University’s bold new strategic plan, Clemson Elevate, in 2023. This blueprint for Clemson will help continue our rise in national recognition by focusing attention and investments on three strategic priorities: delivering the No. 1 student experience in the nation; doubling research by 2035; and transforming lives for the citizens of South Carolina and beyond.
The let’s begin brand awareness campaign combined integrated storytelling with a digital marketing campaign to feature students, faculty and alumni and their Clemson Journeys. Undergraduate biological sciences student Erin Griffin was featured for her cutting-edge marine research.
