Chris Addington

CHRIS ADDINGTON is a Lab Tech in the Machining and Technical Services' Electronics Shop. He builds, maintains, and provides technical support for Undergraduate Unit Ops Labs. Chris also provides technical support to faculty and graduate students for research labs and equipment.

PRODUCTION LINE: Installation and start-up of a Baby Wipes production line - James River Corporation

WRAPPING SYSTEMS: Electrical design, PLC programming, start-up, and repair of various Material Handling and Stretch Film Wrapper systems - Kaufman Engineered Systems

HAZARDOUS WASTE INCINERATOR: Evaluate / Design Instrumentation upgrade and repairs for Hazardous Waste Incinerator - Owens Corning Fiberglas, Resins and Coatings Division

FURNACE & FACTORY REBUILD: Plan, schedule, and provide technical support for complete Furnace & Factory Rebuild - Owens Corning Fiberglas, Reinforcements Division

HOT MELT ADHESIVE FABRICATION: Design and direct fabrication/installation of cooling, drying, conveying, and packaging sections of a Hot Melt Adhesive pelletizing process - The Reynolds Company

ON-SITE PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Customer On-Site Project Management for the construction of a Radiation Treatment Vault requiring monolithic pouring of walls/cap with +/- 550 cu. yds. of High Dry Density concrete, extensive lead shielding, and the installation of Linear Accelerators and supporting equipment - US Oncology, Cancer Centers of the Carolinas
