Housing and Dining Accommodations

When a student completes the Clemson Home housing application/contract, they can also begin the process of requesting disability-related accommodations. Disability-related housing and dining accommodations may be requested when a student indicates that there would be a barrier to their equal access. All requests for disability-related housing or dining accommodations are reviewed by Student Accessibility Services (SAS). To register, please review and begin the process below.

  1. Generally, Student Accessibility Services requires documentation of the student’s disability to determine eligibility. Please see our Documentation Guidelines and obtain this information so you can submit it with your request or as soon as possible.

  2. Complete our Housing and Dining Accommodation Request Form and upload your documentation. Documentation must be uploaded through the portal by the student. Requests received without documentation may be deleted.

  3. Once your request has been received, SAS staff will review all information and send a follow up email to your Clemson email address with next steps.
    • A welcome meeting with the student is an important part of our process and is generally required. Meetings are offered remotely, in-person, or by phone based on student selection.

*All students, including students who are requesting accommodations, must meet advertised Clemson Home application dates and deadlines.

*Housing accommodation requests that are submitted after room selection may be contingent upon availability and/or considered for the following term.

*Dining accommodation requests that are submitted after midterms may be considered for the following term.
