CAFLS Ambassadors: Premier Student Leaders
The CAFLS Ambassadors are a premier group of student leaders who represent the college and serve as the face of the undergraduate students within CAFLS. Our Ambassadors are students enrolled in the College of Agriculture, Forestry & Life Sciences who assist with college or university-sponsored events. The ambassador team interfaces with the various constituents of the college include prospective students, administration, donors, alumni and friends.

Become a CAFLS Ambassador!
Apply by the deadline, Friday, March 1st, by 4:00 PM. Applications will be reviewed, and candidates will be selected for an interview from March 4th to March 13th. You will be notified via email to schedule an interview.

Ambassador Application/Selection Requirements:
Applicants must:

Complete an application and interview process

Be an entering sophomore, junior or senior (seniors must have a full year of availability: Fall 2024 & Spring 2025).

Be enrolled in a major within the College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences

Have and maintain a minimum 2.50 GPA
-
Be highly motivated, energetic, and dependable

Be able to demonstrate outstanding leadership skills

Be a team player

Attend regularly scheduled meetings. Mandatory unless you have a class conflict

Attend the Ambassador Training Conference/Retreat

Be willing to participate in evening and weekend activities, including but not limited to: - College recognition ceremonies and lectures- CAFLS Alumni Tailgate- Alumni and/or Donor Events- CAFLS Career Fair- Campus visits with prospective students- Tours of CAFLS facilities

Ambassadors are expected to be knowledgeable about our campus and college

Contribute to the continuous improvement of the CAFLS Ambassador Program

Exhibit professional conduct at all activities/events, including appropriate conversation, manner, and dress
