To choose a flyer poster design: once in Power Point, select your design preference from one of the slide designs under the "new" menu. Watch a short video about adding a new slide.

It can be very tempting to save an event flyer as an image and share it on social media. Please don't do this. In addition to creating accessibility issues by converting text to an image, this file's dimensions will not display properly and a good portion of your information is likely to get cut off, resulting in a social post that looks terrible and is not optimized to perform well.
Instead, it's better to post a nice, clear photograph (with little or no text) and to explain the event information in the actual post.
If your event exists in the University calendar, link to it and make sure the photo used in the calendar is high-quality. Most social media platforms will pull the image directly to your post.
