Students can enrich their collegiate experience by joining clubs, professional societies, and other organizations. Clemson University offers many ways to get involved based on personal interests or academic associations. Beyond the ones mentioned below, the College has a list of clubs and organizations by area.

Clubs & Orgs

American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) - dedicated to promoting the chemical engineering field through social, community, and professional activities

National Organization of Black Chemist & Chemical Engineers (NOBCChE) - ensuring that African Americans and other people of color are fully engaged in shaping the global scientific community

Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) - emphasize the importance of academic excellence, professional development and communication and leadership skills

Society of Women Engineers (SWE) - empowers women to achieve their full potential as engineers and leaders, and demonstrates the value of diversity and inclusion

Women in Chemical Engineering (WICE) - engage people in the department and make connections with the larger chemical engineering community as we foster successful careers


Student Government

CECAS Student Advisory Board (CECAS SAB): advocates for students within our departments and encourage collaboration between the departments and the community within the college.

Chemical Engineering Graduate Student Organization (CEGSO) - a student-run organization that represents all chemical engineering graduate students
