Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, Oregon State University
Dr. Jackson is an innovative Educator, Academic Administrator, and Researcher, with over thirty years of experience focusing on Civil Engineering and Construction Materials and Methods. His professional career includes employment in both the public and private sectors, including design, construction oversight and inspection of large earthwork, foundation and roadway projects. He earned his Doctorate degree (Ph.D.) in Civil Engineering from Oregon State University, and is a licensed Professional Engineer in multiple states, including South Carolina. He also actively participates with numerous professional and student organizations. Dr. Jackson joined Clemson University as Chair of the Department in 2017.
