American Red Cross CPR/AED & First Aid certification course sponsored by the Department of Campus Recreation.
The purpose of the American Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid course is to help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing, and first aid emergencies. The course teaches skills that participants need to know to give immediate care to a suddenly injured or ill person until more advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. Obtaining a CPR/AED & First Aid certification is important if you want to be prepared in a wide range of emergencies; either in your personal life or based on your participation in activities.
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive certifications in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED which are valid for two years.
This course is right for any individual who has never been certified previously or whose certification expired three or more months ago.

This course is right for any individual whose American Red Cross Basic CPR/AED/First Aid certification will soon expire or has expired within the previous three months.
Recertification Course Offerings
|November 14||November 12 at 5 p.m.|
Recertification courses are offered in one hour blocks between 8:30 a.m.–4 p.m. on the day the course is scheduled. You will be contacted by the course instructor once you have registered to choose a time to complete your recertification.
Registration and payment must be made at the Fike Recreation Welcome Center Desk. (No online Registration).
