CPR/AED/First Aid

Campus Recreation offers American Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid courses which provide training for individuals to respond effectively in emergency situations. The course blends methods of instruction, including videos, demonstrations and hands-on learning. Those who pass the course will receive a certification that is valid for two years.

Eligibility

To be eligible to participate in a review course, the participant must possess a current American Red Cross certificate (or equivalent: Canadian Red Cross, American Heart Association, National Safety Council, American Safety and Health Institute, Emergency Care and Safety Institute, Medic First Aid).

Cost

$45 for Campus Recreation members

$50 for non-members

Attendance and Refunds

Participants must be on-time. If a participant arrives after the course has started, this will result in the failure of the course, and ineligibility for a refund.

 

Course fees are non-refundable if the participant does not attend, does not demonstrate skill competency, or fails the written test.

 

Refunds will be given to registrants if they are unable to attend and request a refund a full 48 hours in advance. A processing fee may apply. To request a refund at least 48 hours in advance, e-mail: vrober1@clemson.edu 

 

All courses are pending until appropriate enrollment numbers are reached. If a class is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances participants have the option to be moved to another scheduled course or have a full refund issued.
