Athletic Training is practiced by athletic trainers, health care professionals who collaborate with physicians to optimize activity and participation of patients and clients. Athletic Training encompasses the prevention, diagnosis, and intervention of emergency, acute, and chronic medical conditions involving impairment, functional limitations, and disabilities.
Students can be seen by an athletic trainer for evaluation, injury management, and rehabilitation. These appointments are scheduled on a first come-first serve basis.
Available for walk in services for first aid, first responder, and referrals during open hours.

An Orthopedic Injury Clinic at Redfern Health Center is now available to all students who have paid the student health fee. Please call 864-656-1541, or stop in Redfern to make an appointment.
*All athletic training services are free to students. Costs may be associated with Orthopedic Injury Clinic visits if x-rays, bracing or other services are needed.
