CU Fitness Schedule

CU Fitness classes are FREE to all members of Fike Recreation Center - valid ID cards must be presented for entrance. Members include full-time students, paid part-time students, paid faculty, staff, & community. Classes are held in the Fike Recreation Center. Schedules are available at the front desk in the lobby entrance at Fike.

All classes meet in the lower aerobics studio or multipurpose room 207 unless indicated otherwise.
Late entry to classes is not permitted.

  • Schedule is subject to change during the first four weeks of classes.
  • If inclement weather, fitness classes may be cancelled.

Bootcamp is BACK!

Meet with three certified instructors/trainers and a group of motivated new friends each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning at 6:00am to achieve your fitness goals! The cost is $50 per month. Educational information regarding exercise and nutrition is also provided. Register and pay at the Service Center in the front of Fike TODAY to get started!


Interested in becoming a CU Fitness Instructor?


Register for ED C 390 Section 01, an educational leadership class that will provide you with the skills needed to effectively instruct a fitness class. This 3 hour academic course will be offered Fall 2013 for those interested in gaining these leadership skills. Throughout the class, students are required to obtain CPR/AED and First Aid certification as well as the Fundamentals of Group Exercise certification. Knowledge concerning every type of fitness class will be gained as well as an understanding of the skills necessary for leading others to improve their overall health.

HEHD 499 Wellness Creative Inquiry

Susan Pope, the Director of Fitness, leads a Creative Inquiry group each semester dedicated to improving the wellness offerings on Clemson University's campus. If you are passionate about health and wellness and are interested in researching ways to improve Clemson University, do not hesitate to register for this 2 hour academic credit course.
