Therapist Assisted Online (TAO)

TAO

When appropriate, CAPS offers a hybrid treatment of both online and in-person therapy called Therapist Assisted Online (TAO) treatment. This treatment covers several areas students tend to struggle with, including managing anxiety, depression and interpersonal difficulties. You are also provided resources for mindfulness and relaxation activities. Students complete modules outside of sessions, then they meet (either in person or via video-conference) with a therapist who helps apply the material they have learned and to review progress. For more information, review the TAO Student Quick Start Guide
