Members’ Association

Mission Statement

To represent the members and provide feedback and input on behalf of the members, to the staff of The Walker Course at Clemson University and to the Clemson University Continuing Education Conference Center Complex Finance Corporation, leading to a more enjoyable golf experience.

Walker Course Member’s Association (WCMA)

The WCMA was formed in 2002 to:

  • Improve communications between management and the members
  • Enhance participation in member events
  • Representation of member issues on the Advisory Committee of the Finance Corporation

Goals & Objectives

  • Increase tournament participation
  • Hold the 3rd annual fund raising tournament for course improvement funding
  • Improve communications between staff and members (especially surrounding course closure)
  • Develop and implement “clinics” for members
  • Encourage activities and projects that generate pride in membership and affiliation with The Walker Course
  • Identify and encourage members to serve on WCMA board and committees
  • Increase membership of The Walker Course
  • Establish working by-laws for the WCMA.
