TigerOne Card Services — About us

TigerOne Card

The TigerOne Card is the official Clemson University ID Card for students and employees.

As the official ID card, the TigerOne Card is an identity tool for the safety and security of our campus. It should be in your possession at all times and presented upon request to any University official. The TigerOne Card is non-transferrable and may not be altered in any way.

The TigerOne Card can be used in a variety of ways such as TigerStripe — a declining balance account for goods and services at on- and off-campus retail locations, Paw Points — a declining balance account for all on-campus dining and POD locations — PawPrints, residence hall access, meal plan access, Cooper Library access, Fike Recreation Center access and Athletic Ticket Privilege access.

Additional information:

Your new TigerOne Card is embedded with multiple technologies; a magnetic stripe, a proximity chip and an iCLASS contactless smart chip. This contactless smart card technology offers enhanced security through encryption and mutual authentication.

The TigerOne Card becomes your personal debit card or declining-balance card when you open a TigerStripe Account. To make a purchase, simply present your TigerOne Card wherever the TigerOne Card is accepted and the amount of your purchase will be deducted from your account. The account balance is provided after each transaction by receipt or at the online card office. There are no monthly fees or interest charges like a checking or credit card account; and your funds roll over from semester to semester.

  1. The Account is a record of pre-deposited funds accessed by the Cardholder for the purchase of products and services. There is no daily limit on the number of purchases that may be made and debited; however, no debits or charges shall exceed the amount of deposited funds.

  2. The Cardholder understands and agrees that the Account cannot be used as a credit card or to obtain cash advances.

  3. The Cardholder understands and agrees that the Account is non-transferable.

Disputes About Purchases

Purchases using your TigerOne Card are like cash and, as such, cannot be disputed in the same manner as credit or charge card transactions. If you have a question about a particular transaction, we will provide you with any information we may have regarding the matter. Any disputes about the nature or quality of goods or services purchased with the card need to be resolved by you with the sales location involved.
