Wise Choice for Admitted Students

WISE Choice brings females from all across the state to Clemson University for a day of career exploration in engineering and science.

Date Scheduled:

Friday, March 27, 2015

About WISE Choice:

High school visits: The visitors will spend a day on campus learning about careers in engineering, science, and math. They will have plenty of time to ask any questions they may have about Clemson University.

We also hold a formal information session, where participants will be advised by representatives of our Admissions and Financial Aid Offices and will listen to presentations from groups such as General Engineering, RiSE, and the Society of Women Engineers.

The WISE program is $25 which covers a WISE T-shirt and meals. Participants are responsible for their travel to and from Clemson University.

To be eligible, students must be seniors (we invite seniors in the fall and accepted Clemson students in the spring), must be enrolled in a college preparatory program, and must have a grade point average at or above 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. (Please note: Our mission of the WISE Program is to increase the number of females entering into engineering and science fields.)

Eligible students are selected on a first-come, first-served basis, determined by the date and time the online applications arrive in our office.
