Home Gardening

Home & Garden Information Center (HGIC) provides research-based information on gardening, pest, and food safety and nutrition issues. The HGIC is staffed by horticulture Extension Agents and food safety specialists who are available by phone, 1-888-656-9988 (SC residents only), from 9 am to 1 pm, Monday through Friday.

Master Gardener Volunteer Program trains volunteers in delivering researched-based consumer horticulture information to citizens of South Carolina.
