Welcome to the 55th Annual Small Business and Farm Income Tax Course conducted by the Clemson University Cooperative Extension Service. This tax course will consist of two day-long sessions offered around the state during November and December 2016.
The course will feature federal and state income tax topics of current interest to tax practitioners and will include two hours of approved SC and Federal Ethics training.
A Taxpayer Advocate Service Representative from the IRS will be available on the second day of each workshop to hear specific case problems. (For many, this feature alone can offset the cost of the workshop.) A South Carolina Department of Revenue representative will be available at the Columbia location on day two.
Online registration will be available during the first week of July. Please save the dates for the following confirmed locations:
November 1 and 2 (Tuesday and Wednesday): Florence, SC
November 14 and 15 (Monday and Tuesday): Spartanburg, SC
November 21 and 22 (Monday and Tuesday - Thanksgiving Week): Mt. Pleasant, SC
November 29 and 30 (Tuesday and Wednesday): Columbia, SC
December 5 and 6 (Monday and Tuesday): Anderson, SC
December 12 and 13 (Monday and Tuesday): North Charleston, SC
We are also studying the feasibility of adding one or two more locations throughout the state.
Please register online during the first week of July.
