* Author of three books, coauthor of two books, and author/coauthor of 14 book chapters and monographs and more than 50 research reports and policy briefs
* Past Editor of Educational Administration Quarterly, the oldest international multidisciplinary journal of scholarship in educational leadership
* Recipient of awards for outstanding research, publications and service from scholarly and professional organizations as well as institutions of higher education
* Experienced elementary/secondary principal and special education teacher licensed/certified in three states: Kentucky, North Carolina, and Wisconsin
