Externally Funded Projects

Currently Funded Projects

To receive external funding for their research, faculty undergo a lengthy application process in which they define the purpose, methods, expected outcomes, and potential benefits of their work.  In order to convince a potential sponsor to select a proposal for funding, faculty members must persuade sponsors that  research aligns with the sponsors' own missions and goals. An important distinction between externally funded grant research and initiatives that are supported by external donors is that faculty who receive grant support for externally funded research must deliver research reports that demonstrate to the funders that they completed all the objectives outlined in their grant proposals. Most often, the number of applications for grant monies is high, so this is an extremely competitive process.  The following projects are currently externally funded in the Eugene T. Moore School of Educaton.
