Congratulations, Graduates!

Commencement is May 7, 9 and 10, 2024.

Clemson University is a land-grant institution engaged not only in its primary academic program but also through extensive research at the main campus and at six Research and Education Centers located across the state. The University is heavily committed to a varied program of public service, including the work of agricultural extension, which has professional personnel located in each of the state’s 46 counties.

GENERAL INFORMATION

The Spring doctoral commencement ceremonies will be held May 7, 2024, at 3 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at the Brooks Center for the Performing Arts. The Spring master's and bachelor's graduation ceremonies will be held on May 9 and 10, 2024 at 9 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. in Littlejohn Coliseum. Tickets are not required for guests attending the ceremonies. However, it is recommended that each graduate limits guests to a maximum of six. The ceremonies may be viewed via livestream on Clemson TV.

All diplomas will be mailed regardless of ceremony attendance.

Clear bag policy will be in effect for all graduates and guests. All bags entering Littlejohn Coliseum must be clear plastic or vinyl and not exceed the dimensions of 12” x 6” x 12”. One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags are also accepted. Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand (no larger than 4.5” x 6.5”) will be permitted. An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection. Patrons will still be able to carry other items into the coliseum, such as cameras and smartphones, but their carrying cases will NOT be allowed.
