U.S. EPA Visit for Intelligent River


U.S. EPA’s Water Chief, Nancy K. Stoner, began a series of visits to showcase innovative technologies and practices being used or developed in the water sector. The visits are meant to support and inform E.P.A.’s Technology Innovation Blueprint initiative that will identify market opportunities in the water sector. Ms. Stoner met with the  Intelligent River® team in June of 2013 to hear more about the the Intelligent River® technology. The Intelligent River® team received a Major Research Instrumentation Award in 2011 from the National Science Foundation to design, develop and deploy a basinwide network of computerized sensors to monitor the full reach of the Savannah River.
