"An error occurred during editing:..."

You submit a page a get this error message in a red box across the top of your page:

"An error occurred during editing: Could not execute JDBC batch update; nested exception is org.hibernate.exception.ConstraintViolationException: Could not execute JDBC batch update"

The diagnosis is simple: You are not using Firefox. You are most likely using Internet Explorer.

1. log out of Cascade
2. close Internet Explorer
3. open Firefox Mozilla browser
4. Log into cascade (psacascade.clemson.edu)
5. and continue editing using Firefox
