About The sponsor provides opportunities to participate in environmental projects involving cultural and natural resources, restoration, compliance, conservation, pollution prevention, validation, demonstration, technology transfer, quality assurance and quality control, training, information management and reporting, and related programs.

Objectives Discipline(s) include: earth, environmental, and marine sciences. Additional Discipline Information includes: archaeology, biology, chemistry, ecology, engineering, entomology, environmental sciences, forestry, historic preservation, information sciences, plant pathology, wildlife biology, and zoology.
Eligibility U.S. Citizens Only; undergraduate and graduate students; postgraduates who have completed degree within the last five years; faculty members; and retired scientists.
Funding Stipends are based on research area(s) and academic classification; faculty appointment stipends based on regular salary. Appointments made up to one year, full-time or part-time; renewable up to a total of four years full-time participation for postgraduates; renewable up to a total of five years full-time participation for postdoctorates.
