The Clemson Experience is about more than classes. It is the opportunity to generate relationships with faculty, staff and friends through a club or organization. It is building communities and understanding social responsibility by attending the Alternative Break Program or participating in Clemson's various diversity programs. It is students developing identities through Living-Learning Communities or Student Affairs internships and employment. Lastly, it is a way for students to demonstrate character by keeping the campus safe and educating one another about alcohol, violence and other potentially harmful actions.
The Division of Student Affairs praises and celebrates the work our students do inside the classroom. In addition, the learning that one experiences outside of the classroom should also not be forgotten, as it comprises the traditions and memories that make our students who they are.
Graduate student Sabrina Brown said it best when she said, "Without Student Affairs, I would have never found my passion and calling in life. I don't know if I would be the same person I am today." She and the rest of our Tigers help us create the nation's most engaged, satisfied and successful student body on a daily basis.
We are the Division of Student Affairs, and we invite you to be a part of our Clemson Experience.
