Bo Clements grew up in the south now resides in Anderson, South Carolina. He is a senior lecturer of American Sign Language here in Clemson University. Bo holds ASLTA certified: professional/master level. He has taught ASL and Deaf culture studies at the University of South Florida in Tampa Bay for 20 years. Bo is a graduate of Gallaudet University with a B.A. degree and holds an M.S. degree from Florida State University.
Bo serves on the board directors of National American Sign Language Teachers Association (ASLTA), Inc. as a chapters affiliated director. Also, he is a professional development director for South Carolina American Sign Language Teachers Association (SCASLTA) Inc. He was a president of Florida American Sign Language Teachers Association (FASLTA); Inc. Bo gave numerous workshops included a workshop at the National Professional Development ASLTA conference in Salt Lake City, Utah. He loves Modern Art, collecting tiki figures. His interests are waterfalls hiking, camping/outdoors/beaches and traveling. He loves to watch college football games (FSU, Clemson, and Oregon). He has a DODA (Dog of Deaf Adult): a golden retriever. His name is Ryley. He already knows 15+ signs.
