Athletic Training

To help minimize unnecessary costs and referrals, Clemson students, including intramural and club sport participants, are welcome into the athletic training room to have injuries evaluated and treated.

Athletic Training

Athletic Training is practiced by athletic trainers, health care professionals who collaborate with physicians to optimize activity and participation of patients and clients. Athletic Training encompasses the prevention, diagnosis, and intervention of emergency, acute, and chronic medical conditions involving impairment, functional limitations, and disabilities.

 

Clinic Services - Appointment Only

  Students can be seen by an athletic trainer for evaluation, injury management, and rehabilitation. These appointments are scheduled first come-first serve basis.

Walk In Services

Available for walk in services for first aid, first responder, and referrals.

New ATR

The Athletic Training Room is located in Fike Recreation Center in room 208.

Also a new service to students, an Orthopedic Injury Clinic offered at Redfern Health Center, available to all students who have paid the student health fee. Make an appointment online, call 864-656-1541, or stop in Redfern.

 

 

*All athletic training services are free to students. Costs may be associated with Orthopedic Injury Clinic visits due to xrays, bracing, etc.*
