Career Services

The Office of MBA Career Services was created to provide MBA students and alumni with practical information for their career development and management. Our staff can help you identify your skills, interests and abilities, as well as help you prepare for a job search.   For working professionals, our career counselors  can help you better position yourself for promotional opportunities.

Contact the Office of MBA Career Services for a one-on-one meeting.  We encourage you to make an appointment to discuss your personal career planning and employment issues.

The Office of MBA Career Services also coordinates with recruiters and potential employers by providing information on how to recruit MBA students for internships, full or part time jobs.  Resumes of our MBA students are posted in an online Resume Book which can be accessed by potential employers on the MBA web site.

Self Assessment

Most MBA students (typically 70%) do not know what their career goal is when they enroll in an MBA Program. The Office of MBA Career Services is here to help you clarify your career goals and to provide the foundation for your job search. You will need to spend focused time assessing your options and making decisions. To guide you through this process we offer a web based self-assessment program called CareerLeader. CareerLeader is specifically designed for MBA students.

Interview Preparation

The MBA Program uses InterviewStream.    This interview streaming option is arranged by the Michelin Career Center for MBA students.   This system enables students to easily register personal and academic information, upload resumes and cover letters, search for jobs, and apply for jobs, all from a single software application

Networking Events

The Clemson MBA provides students with knowledge and insight into various organizations.    Through special events coordinated by the MBA Program, students are exposed to leaders from top companies.  Students are able to meet and network with regional business executives through luncheons and other events in the upstate business community.  A calendar is available from the MBA office.
