CCIT’s Teaching & Learning Services provides Distance Education Support Services for faculty and students. The services we provide help faculty to learn more about teaching online or at a distance. They also help students to connect with their class either online or in person through video conferencing technology or web conferences. Through technology, CCIT’s Teaching & Learning Services team helps students attend class without having to step foot in a classroom.
Each Distance Education class has a faculty member who interacts with students, leads the course, and provides assistance. Distance Education course activities may include reading textbooks and study guides, engaging in online chats, watching videos, participating in group projects, using online discussion boards, and writing papers. Some online classes require live meetings over the internet or audio conferences as well. Offering both a flexible and convenient way to earn college credit from around the world.
