Diversity Education

One World ProjectClemson University works hard to have a diverse campus community welcoming of people of different ethnicities, cultures, ages, genders, sexual orientations, religions, socio-economic levels, political perspectives, abilities, opinions, values and experiences.

The Diversity Education area of the Center for Student Life develops, implements, coordinates and evaluates a variety of programs designed to increase the intercultural competencies of our students. This area also assists in creating a more welcoming and inclusive campus environment. Some of the many ways we accomplish this are to

  • offer workshops to the campus community
  • design specialized programs for organizations and departments
  • collaborate with campus partners to create opportunities for dialogue
  • advise students and student organizations on diversity-related matters
