Dr. Grujicic joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering in 1988.  His main area of research is the use of a holistic top-down multi-disciplinary multi-length/time scale engineering approach to elucidate complex interrelations and laws governing the behavior and performance of various engineering systems in their manufacturing, in-service and end-of-life environments.  In 2007, Dr. Grujicic received the McQueen Quattlebaum Research Award which recognizes outstanding accomplishments in research in engineering within the College of Engineering and Science.
