The Honors Residential College Located at Core Campus

The deadline to submit the Housing application is May 15 at 4 p.m. !

You will be among the second group of students to have the opportunity to live and dine in the brand new Honors community at Core Campus—Clemson’s first residential college, located in the heart of campus. If you are interested in residing in the Calhoun Honors Residential College, then  select “Calhoun Honors College” on the Community Choice page when you sign up for Housing and Dining. Visit University Housing and Dining for more information.

New Honors students may apply to live in the Honors Residential Collegelocated in Core Campus. For applicants indicating a roommate or suitemate preference, that roommate or those suitemates must ALSO be admitted to Honors. Space is limited and Honors students are not guaranteed a spot in Honors housing. Assignment priority is based on date of submission of the undergraduate admission application to Clemson University, not the Honors College application.

To indicate your preference to live in the Honors Residential College:

    1. Pay your admission deposit
    2. Log in to the Housing and Dining Web Portal.
    3. Complete the entirety of the contract including: paying your application fee, providing basic information, and your lifestyle survey. If you list a roommate or suitemate preference, all of them must be members of the Calhoun Honors College. Roommate request must be confirmed by 4 p.m. on May 15.
    4. On the “Community Choice” page, select “Calhoun Honors College” and click continue.
    5. The Housing and Dining contract must be completed by 4 p.m. on May 15, 2017. Please plan ahead and allow 2-3 business days for processing.

For students under the age of 18: Students who are not yet 18 must have their parents/guardians "co-sign" the Housing application (and additional instructions will be provided on this page in the portal). Click here for full details for new students.

If you have questions about the Housing application, call the Housing office Monday through Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm, at (864) 656-2295. The Honors College does NOT have access to the Housing application, and will refer any questions you may have about Housing to the Housing office
