Disney Sports Graduate Internship Program - (Annual Program)

Established in 1996, the Disney Sports Graduate Internship Program provides an inclusive environment for graduate students, which centers on a variety of business practices in operating a sports complex. Supplementing their classroom studies, the twelve month internship provides a wide variety of practical learning and experiences.

The following program criteria apply:

  • Students must be enrolled during the length of the internship in a Masters or Doctoral degree program at an accredited college or university. Highly recommended undergraduates will be considered on a case by case basis.
  • Grade point average of at least 3.0
  • Community involvement, volunteerism, and relevant experience
  • Students will be selected based upon the recommendation of their college or university and personal interviews with representatives of Disney Sports.

The South Carolina Aquatic Plant Management Society is seeking applications for its annual Phillip M. Fields Scholarship Award. Charleston Women in International Trade (CWIT) is offering two $3000 scholarship awards for students attending colleges/universities and two $1500 scholarships for high school seniors accepted to colleges/universities. US Department of Homeland Security Summer Intern Program

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) sponsors a 10-week summer internship program for rising juniors and seniors majoring in homeland security related science, technology, engineering and mathematics (HS-STEM) disciplines. The DHS HS-STEM Summer Internship Program provides students with the opportunity to conduct research in DHS mission-relevant research areas at federal research facilities located across the country.

The goal of this program is to engage a diverse, educated, and skilled pool of scientists and engineers in HS-STEM issues and to promote long-term relationships between student researchers, the DHS Science and Technology (S&T) Directorate, and federal research facilities to enhance the HS-STEM workforce.

DHS has partnered with Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) to manage the application and review process, notification, and implementation of the program. The DHS Science and Technology Directorate reviews applications and makes the final award selections.
