Two Ph.D. Students Received Travel Awards to Present at a National Meeting

Tessema Kassaw, a Genetics Ph.D. candidate, and Ashley Crook, a Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Ph.D. student, from the Frugoli lab received travel grants valued at over $1000 each from the American Society of Plant Biologists to present their research at the national meeting in Austin TX July 20-24th. Tessema presented the poster "Long Distance Signaling: a mechanism for nodule regulation in Medicago truncatula" and Ashley presented the poster "Interacting Partners of the SUNN Symbiotic Regulatory Kinase."
