Current Faculty Openings

Assistant/Associate Tenure-Track Professors

The Department of Genetics and Biochemistry at Clemson University invites applications for two tenure-track faculty positions at the assistant professor or associate professor level. We seek candidates with expertise in biochemistry, molecular biology and/or genetics, a demonstrated record of productivity and scientific excellence, and a commitment to enhancing the breadth, depth, and diversity of our research programs. Topics of particular interest include models of human disease, infectious disease, plant biology and adaptations to stress. Applicants using any model organism system will be considered. Anticipated start date is August 2024.

Tenure-track Assistant Professor — Cluster Hire in Human Genetics

Lecturer

The Department of Genetics and Biochemistry at Clemson University seeks applications for a full-time, nine-month, renewable, non-tenure track lecturer position for the instruction and development of undergraduate teaching laboratories and classroom courses in genetics and biochemistry. This position will work closely with the teaching laboratory manager and graduate teaching assistants and be expected to update and revise current laboratory courses and implement new courses as the department expands. The start date is preferably Fall 2024 but is negotiable.
