Ph.D. Candidate Successfully Defends Dissertation
Keri Tabb, a Genetics Ph.D. candidate from Dr. Leigh Anne Clark's laboratory, successfully defended her doctoral dissertation on October 29th. Keri obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC and a Master of Arts degree in Neuroscience from the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT. She joined Dr. Keith Murphy's laboratory in the Department of Genetics and Biochemistry at Clemson University in February of 2009 and moved to Dr. Leigh Anne Clark's laboratory in August of 2012. Keri's dissertation was entitled "Characterization of two type IV collagens involved in autosomal recessive hereditary nephropathy."
