Visual Identity Guidelines
Incorrect Usage

1. The University wordmark, the athletic wordmark and any other mark that is part of the University's identity program must not be rekeyed, redrawn, reproportioned or modified in any form.

2. Features of the wordmarks or any other mark that is part of the University's identity program must not be combined with other symbols such as line drawings of Tillman Hall, organizational symbols, original drawings or additional lettering. Modifications must be approved in advance by the director of the Department of Publications and Promotion.

3. The name of the University is "Clemson University." The initials "CU" should not be used as the University name.

4. The marks should not be crowded with other design elements. The marks should always be prominent and visible.

5. No variation in the approved color breaks is allowed without advance approval from the director of the Department of Publications and Promotion.
