Clemson University benefits from the widespread involvement of students and faculty in all aspects of campus life. Campus organizations provide social, cultural, and political opportunities for more than 16,000 undergraduate and graduate students. We were immediately drawn to this spirit during our first visit to campus for National Scholars Weekend, and we still are. It is one reason that many of us decided to accept the National Scholars award over scholarships offered by other schools.
