The summer before our Sophomore year, we spend several weeks studying in Europe. We also get to take advantage of some group and personal travel time as well. Since we've had freshman year to learn more about Clemson and our majors, we begin working one-on-one with faculty and community mentors to develop co-curricular learning experiences, such as reading courses or laboratory experiences on selected topics or research.

We also enroll in ELE 301 (a course designed especially for us) that explores the idea and practice of leadership through readings, discussions, and a class project.
