NSP offers an interdisciplinary leadership course taught by top professors. Select scholars attend the LeaderShape Institute, the premier college student leadership conference in the United States.
 
National Scholars have served as editors for The Tiger student newspaper; as student body vice president, treasurer and student senate president; as captains of flag football, ultimate Frisbee and soccer intramural teams; and on countless University committees in which they represent the student voice for academic policy, student life and University growth.
