The Office of Research Safety strives to promote a culture of safety, integrity, and quality within the University research community. Along with the Office of Research Compliance, we work to facilitate University research, teaching and public service programs by providing oversight and coordination of research compliance and safety areas.

Earth Day Celebration:

Tuesday, April 22 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm Location: North Green & Carillon Gardens

A festival full of educational opportunities, crafts, entertainment and activities dedicated to sustainability and social justice. This event is sponsored by the Student Government, and Research Safety will participate in the fair with an educational table. For more information:

Mercury Exchange Program:


          The Office of Research Safety is offering a free exchange program to replace mecrury containing devices (such as thermometers) with non-mercury equivalents. For more Information click here.
