The Clemson University Restoration Institute seeks to drive economic growth by creating, developing and fostering restoration industries and environmentally sustainable technologies in South Carolina in the areas of advanced materials, community revitalization, historic preservation, renewable energy, resilient infrastructure, and restoration ecology.

Santee Cooper

Santee Cooper is South Carolina's largest producer of electricity, supplying power to about 40 percent of the state. As the state-owned electric and water utility and the third largest public power utility of its type in the United States, we are dedicated to our mission of being the state's leading resource for improving the quality of life for the people of South Carolina. 



PBS&J is a professional consulting firm with core services that include environmental and ecological sciences, water resources, watershed management, floodplain management, engineering, design, planning, program management, construction services, surveying and mapping, emergency management, and information technologies. Founded in 1960, PBS&J has 3,900 employees in more than 80 offices across the U.S. and overseas, including offices in Columbia, South Carolina; Charlotte, Raleigh, and Lenior, North Carolina; and Atlanta, Georgia. PBS&J recently welcomed EcoScience Corporation as a new Division of PBS&J, expanding our environmental sciences, ecology, and watershed management capabilities in North and South Carolina.
