Career and Professional Development Services

Veteran students may want to explore the career and professional options that would be a best match for their past experiences and personality. Those who are seeking assistance with a variety of topics regarding their career or professional development can rest assured that staff members in the Center for Career & Professional Development are here to assist student veterans.  Cooperative Education, the Michelin Career Center, and the University Professional Internship and Co-op Program are all part of the Center for Career and Professional Development (CCPD).  We are located on the third floor of the Hendrix Student Center, office number 316. 

Student veterans who are seeking assistance related to their career or professional development can meet with a career counselor.  Drop-ins are available and allow a career counselor to assist students with quick questions or issues that should take no longer than 10-15 minutes.  Appointments can be schedule for more in-depth assistance, and can last up to 55 minutes.  Students can schedule an appointment by calling 864-656-0440 or coming by the CCPD during the drop-in hours posted on our website:

The Michelin Career Center (MCC) provides services and assistance regarding the following: choosing a major; job and internship search; resume and cover letter critiques; mock interviews; on-campus interviews; career fairs; and workshops for campus groups and classes.  More information can be found on the MCC’s webpage:

The University Professional Internship & Co-op Program (UPIC) can provide assistance for those that are interested in obtaining an internship or co-op position on Clemson’s campus.  More information can be found on UPIC’s webpage:
