The Office of Teaching Effectiveness and Innovation (OTEI) is, first and foremost, a safe haven for all members of the Clemson University teaching community to come to discuss any issue related to teaching, career development, faculty review preparation, and teaching-related scholarship.
OTEI also provides leadership in keeping Clemson on the cutting edge of teaching excellence and innovation, in fostering communication, understanding, and a sense of community between teachers and learners, in helping instructors select the most effective teaching approaches for their student learning outcomes, and in ensuring valid and reliable assessments of teaching and learning.
As part of a research extensive university, OTEI also offers services to facilitate the funding activities, research, scholarly writing, publishing, and overall career success of the faculty and graduate students.
