118 Two cups (1 pint) fertilizer is equal to approximately 1 pound. Three-quarter pint limestone weights approximately 1 pound.

300 As a precaution against fertilizer burn, water the plants immediately after the fertilizer is applied.

301 Broadcast 1-1/2 cups triple superphosphate (0-46-0) and 2 cups 15-0-15 or equivalent fertilizer per 100 square feet in early spring and then in early summer, broadcast either 2 cups 12-6-6 or 11-7-7 or equivalent fertilizer per 100 square feet.
