Resolution: Support of NAPT and MAP

Whereas SERA-IEG-6 has historically organized sample exchange programs as inexpensive ways to facilitate laboratory quality control, and

Whereas in recent years, SERA-IEG-6 has supported and facilitated development of the NAPT and MAP quality control programs, and

Whereas the NAPT and MAP programs have facilitated improvements in quality control in a non-regulated capacity,

Therefore, be it resolved that SERA-IEG-6 supports the NAPT and MAP programs as they presently exist to help soil, plant, water, and animal waste testing labs ensure quality control in a non-regulated capacity, and

Furthermore recommends that the NAPT and MAP programs do not expand into more expensive regulatory programs in the future.
