Poultry Scholarships Available to AVS Students

Bert Bierer Memorial Scholarship - $800
This renewable scholarship is awarded to an entering freshman in AVS in Poultry Business or upperclassman in AVS in Poultry Business.

John C. Shelley Memorial Scholarship - Two @ $2,000
A renewable scholarship for entering freshmen in AVS in Poultry Business or upperclassmen in Poultry Business or students enrolled in CAFLS.

South Carolina Poultry Federation Scholarship - Two @ $500
These scholarships are awrded to students in Poultry Business. One scholarship is awarded to a freshman and the other to a sophomore, junion or senior.

Clemson University Poultry Science Club Scholarship - Four @ $250
These scholarships are awarded to active members who have made the most contribution to the Poultry Science Club.

SC Poultry Festival Scholarship - $1,000
This scholarship is awarded to a SC resident in AVS in Poultry Business.

SC Poultry Industry Internship Grants-in-Aid - Amount Varies
Provides grants-in-aid to offset student travel and living expenses during an internship period. Students must be enrolled in AVS 360 and be participating in an internship program. Recipients will be recommended by the director of the internship program subject to approval by the AVS Dept. Chair.

Albin S. Johnson Annual Memorial Scholarship - $1,000
A scholarship awarded to a SC resident in AVS in Poultry Business.

Chip Rauch Endowed Memorial Scholarship - $750
This scholarship is awarded to an AVS student in Poultry Business.
