 Profile

Rebecca Trax, CPA earned a Masters of Accounting and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Georgia. Rebecca joined American Hospital Supply (Baxter Healthcare) as General Accounting Supervisor & Cost Accounting Supervisor at a manufacturing plant and later joined the Pharmaseal Division in Valencia, CA as General Accounting Supervisor, promoted to a Manager of Financial Planning and eventually rose to a Plant Controller. After moving to Nashville, TN Rebecca joined Vanderbilt University as Director of the Ability Assessment Center and later Chief Administrative Officer of the Owen Graduate School of Management. Rebecca transitioned into several adjunct teaching roles in order to devote more time to parenting twins. Most recently as adjunct accounting faculty with the IUPUI, Kelley School of Business she developed and recorded 27 lecture hours, an online accounting course for non-business majors. In addition, Rebecca regularly taught Accounting for Governmental & Not for Profit organizations, Managerial Accounting, Introduction to Financial & Managerial Accounting. Rebecca was Continuous Term Lecturer with Purdue University teaching Introductory Financial Accounting, Governmental Not for Profit and Intermediate accounting courses. She recorded over 60 hours of Intermediate accounting lectures for online courses. Rebecca joined the Clemson adjunct accounting faculty in the spring of 2017 after moving to the SC Upstate.
